Hennessy VS is the best-selling cognac in the world, and not because of its lower prices
but because of quality, marketing and recognizable name. It can be served neat or over ice. 40 is used
of different eaux-de-vie from all cognac regions. Distillates used to obtain the final product are aged
from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of five years in oak barrels made of Limousin oak.

To create Hennessy's signature eaux-de-vie, the finest Ugni Blanc grapes are selected and after fermentation,
distilled twice in copper cauldrons (alembic charentais). While some producers make the decision that in distillation
they also use grape skins and stuff, Hennessy removes that to create a softer and more delicate product.
