Loch Lomond 12yo perfectly balanced 46% ABV is a non-chill filtered whisky, aged for 12 years in three different types of American oak barrels (bourbon, refill and re-charred). The whiskey is produced in unique "straight neck" and traditional "swan neck" casks. The dominant aromas of this whiskey are green apple, ripe pear and lemon. The taste in the mouth is predominantly fruity with predominant pear, lemon and vanilla. A small degree of peat can be felt in the finish, i.e. smoky taste. The whiskey received a double gold medal for 2022 at the World Spirits Competition and a gold medal at The Spirit Business for 2020.
