This whiskey, with a special Asian name, is in a class of its own.
Its name "Yamazakura" is composed of two Japanese words: "yama" meaning mountain and "sakura" meaning cherry tree.
Its trademark is the cherry blossom, which is very nicely outlined on the label.
The taste is moderately full, and notes of salted caramel, fresh fruit and biscuit can be recognized. Medium finish rich in vanilla flavor.
It can be drunk neat or with a couple of ice cubes.
